uniques special ones® is about more than cars, it includes exceptional unique artifacts. Each year, a carefully honed selection of exceptional brands puts their expertise on display, presenting objects and workmanship under the banner of the most refined levels of manual skill. Lovers of excellence, beauty, and high quality living, collectors of rare objects, or simple enthusiasts can, therefore, admire objects from the past and present, hailing from all over the world and sharing the common denominators of uniqueness, exclusivity, exceptionality, rarity, and singularity.
In 2011 uniques special ones®, was able to present an exclusive collection of rare 17th and 18th Century sketches from private collections: on display were works by artists as famous and renowned as Guido Reni and Tintoretto. Creations unique in their design by Stefano Ricci, main sponsor of the event, were part and parcel of the exhibition, so to spread along the concept of continuous search of excellence in tradition that differentiates the Florentine designer in its sector: the rooms of the 18th Century Antico Setificio Fiorentino provide living proof of the philosophy applied by Stefano Ricci in collecting the most relevant elements of tradition, making them the guidelines for unique future creations.
The concept of 'unique' and 'rare' has been carefully developed in detail on many levels, including a distinctive Italian tradition, winemaking: Palazzo della Gherardesca's vinery staff were at hand in order to explain and demonstrate the unique excellence of the wines from the Tenuta Argentiera.
